Lawns weeds are best controlled when they are actively growing, and this is normally in spring when the soil is moist, and conditions are warm. Always leave the lawn a few days after the last mowing to allow the weeds time to grow a little before applying the product and do not cut for at least 3 days after application to give the weeds time to absorb the weedkillers. Early morning on a dry day in April or May is usually when the best results are achieved.
