Doff Slug Copper Tape

Doff Copper Slug Tape is an environmentally friendly, long lasting, effective deterrent to protect plants in pots, planters, cold frames, raised beds or on staging, from slugs and snails.

  • Creates an unpleasant shock-like sensation when slugs and snails touch the tape so they do not cross it.
  • Easy-to-use, self-adhesive backing copper tape.
  • Ideal for placing around pots, planters, containers and raised garden beds.
  • Deters slugs & snails without harming.
  • Protects approx. 12 x 5 inch pots.
  • Each Pack contains 4m.
  • Prepare the surface on which the tape is to be stuck by removing dirt and any loose material – ensuring that the surface is dry before application.
Remove the protective paper and apply directly to the cleaned surface.
Stick the tape around the complete circumference of the pot or container you wish to protect, overlapping by approximate 10mm.
Ensure the barrier is not obstructed by leaves or debris as this could allow the pests to bypass the barrier.
